The latest update from @nycparks regarding the Playground & Dog Run Upgrade project. Keeping our fingers and paws crossed for a Fall 2025 start date on construction.

In the meantime, we will plan for a Spring dog run cleanup for late March / Early April. More details to come!

Proceeds from the party will be donated to our friends @badassanimalrescue and @whiskers_agogo for the life saving work they do every day.

Did you know that we have been hosting our famous dog parties since 2013? Whether it’s our Doggy Pool Party, Halloween Costume Contest, Meow Mania or Awkward Family Holiday Pet Photos party, Every year since we’ve opened our doors 11 years ago we have been having epic Dog (and Cat) Party Fundraisers!

As huge animal rescue advocates, none of our parties have ever been for profit. We always donate 100% of proceeds that we raise to the wonderful rescue organizations that we have partnered with over the years - because we truely LOVE animals and we believe in giving back. We have raised over $30,000 in the past 11 years to support animal rescue groups in our area.

So if you love having fun with your pets and donating to a great cause at the same time, then make sure to check out our party this Saturday @willowstavern

Proceeds raised will be donated to @badassanimalrescue

Hi pack! We still have a fairly big pile of gravel that needs to be spread around the dog run and could use your help this Saturday while you’re at the park. We will have shovels, rakes, and buckets available to use, so we would greatly appreciate it if folks could grab one and help move some of the gravel to the center of the dog run - thank you!!!!

We could really use the help (only 3 people have signed up to volunteer so far) - you do not have to be there for the entire time - even dropping by to help for 30 minutes will make a difference!

A BIG thank you goes out the amazing people who showed up to lend a helping hand at today’s volunteer cleanup! We would not have been able to do this without you! 🙌

Today’s accomplishments:
✅ repairing the torn green windscreens around the fences
✅ removing trash and 💩
✅ filling in holes and the divot around the tree pit
✅ fixing the pergola shade screens
✅ clearing the paved areas & park pathways

Next cleanup will be in June! Stay tuned for more info!
